Happy Birthday, Marvin Berry. (You know who you are!)
I spent the day in cardiovascular (CV) and was totally fascinated. Stopping the patient's heart didn't bother me as bad as it did that first time. It's still disturbing, don't get me wrong, but fixing the problem overrode the disturbing part. I helped fix a heart. Holy crap. No wonder doctors think they're deities.
I am addicted to Twix ice cream bars. I'd mainline them if I could. The perfect end to a pretty good day.
