A small poem that popped out tonight as I was getting in my car to come home from work:

"Ack! This seat, she is too close to the dash! Oh, 'cause I am fat, moo, moo."

There's a reason I write porn, not poems.

This weekend was not just a spunk/pussy/fuck fest, honest. DC spent most of it at his girlfriend's, so I had plenty of time with the Boy. After an *excellent* Munch on Saturday, we went shopping. I dropped $250 at Williams-Sonoma and didn't bat an eye. We hit Barnes & Noble as well, and the golf store for his anniversary present (I got sterling silver earrings and bath stuff! YAY!) and he got sparkly orange balls and UT golf head cover thingies. We hit a thrift store on the advice of 16Candles and even though it was the wrong store, we found a couple things. We finally found the right store and it was a drag queen's dream come true. Fetish shoes, sequined gowns, furs, lingerie, all kinds of goodies. Then he and I went to the restaurant where we had our first date and I drank bellinis like someone was going to take them away from me. We did the crap movie thing instead of the nasty sex thing and slept like the dead when we got home. Sunday was the sex day, which brings me up to today.

Today was a great day at work. I was kind of dippy on my second case because I'd never worked with that doctor before and I'd heard not-so-nice things about him. Everything went well, though. The person who made the comment back when about gays who want marriage rights are no different than terrorists paid me a very nice compliment today and I really *really* wanted to say "Ummm...you like working with me, even though I'm one of 'those people'?", just to see if he changed his tune. I just said thank you and went on my merry way.

I'm off tomorrow to host the new Tuesday night meeting group and I'm excited and nervous. Excited because I really believe we can get this group back on track to what it used to be when the Divine Miss M hosted it, and nervous because being the hostess makes me twitch. I hate public speaking (I know I know...keep it to yourself) but being seated instead of standing behind a podium is better. I have the agenda all planned out so at least I'm prepared. :)
