Without going into too much detail at this point, a case I did over a week ago is being investigated. My charge nurse assured me that no matter the outcome, I won't be fired. I'll be written up, which I can live with if I did indeed screw up. I still get to scrub cases, though, which is a small ray of sunshine in a big black thunder cloud. Feh.
